Fiber 300 upgraded to Fiber 1000. I recently upgraded. When F300 was setup the tech that came out set me up with 2 connections. A 2.4 Ghz and a 5 Ghz. The 2.4 works with those devices that don't go faster. I'm checking and I'm still getting similar speeds that i was getting with F300.The average home user should be fine with 500Mbps down.
