It's a dot matrix patch which can be cut as opposed to a reservoir patch which should not be cut. You can also adjust the dose of the patch by where you place it. Absorption from patches worn on the rear is about 20% better. If you are wearing yours on your rear, try moving it to your abdomen. I informed my CVS/Target pharmacy - so crossing my fingers! I do not want to be on the generic patch! I heard bad things about it, and after going thru two years of horrid issues, I will happily pay the higher copay for the Brand Vivelle patch. I will update this post if and when I have the newly packaged Vivelle Dot 0.1 mg patches in my hand!
